Hello all,

My name is Chris Van Pelt, and I'm a 24 year old from Iowa... I moved
out here in Sept. of 04. I graduated with a BA in Computer Science
and Art from Hope College in Holland Michigan, a small (2800) but
great school. I was on the whole php train for a few years, but rails
has made my life much more pleasent the past 6 monthes or so.

I work and live in Carlsbad, not necesarrily in that order. The
company I work for is a government funded program that helps
transitioning military get jobs. We are currently replacing our
current Java/Struts implementation with the wonder that is Rails. The
development team consists of myself and Tom Werner, someone that
should be joining this list soon.

Anyway, we have learned allot and are continuing to learn as this
process unfolds. We are looking to release the fruit of our labor in
a couple monthes. I'm excited to talk RnR with fellow enthusiasts,
and we're probably gonna need another developer soon.

Chris
