Can anyone offer tips on developing Rails apps and
working with Web designers?

I'm building my first serious Web application with
Rails and I'm thinking about getting a Web designer
involved early rather than later. It's for a
scientific application so I'm not looking for fancy
graphics or effects.

What should I make sure to do/know before talking to a
designer and what should I avoid doing or worrying
about?
